I don't know.

If I've learned one thing in my career it's that judges have no qualms going back on a decision by another judge, but they are very hesitant to rule different from their own earlier rulings.
That's certainly not what happened with the repeal of Roe v Wade though.

putin is loving this
I feel for Biden. The guy should be at a retirement home doing a victory lap and enjoying his final years with his wife with a mai tai in hand on a Hawaiian beach.

Instead, he's suckered into service again because the clown show of his political party cannot get its act together and push forward any viable candidates under the age of 80.

But it's not just the Democratic party. The Republicans are knob-gobbling for head-pat approvals of a TV game show host behind a failed coup and with a white collar rap sheet longer than the Forbes 30 Under 30. I mean, the guy even shows up seven times in Jeffrey Epstein's flight manifest.

The entire U.S. needs to do some soul-searching about how things got to this point. The path here looks like something out of Putin's playbook, played to dysfunctional perfection.

Better yet why didn't they a year or two ago?
They shot themselves in the foot by picking kamala as his VP because she would lose the election by an even worse than biden's decaying corpse but they also cant just kick the first black woman VP to the curb to replace her with newsom. It really is a monster of their own creation

Frankly as much as it pains me I think Roe v Wade was a weak decision prone to a repeal sooner or later.

I don't even think the reasoning of this Supreme Court was that weak. I wonder how many people actually read the decision.

But the precise reasoning they used in Dobbs would make it hard for them to rule in favour of the Louisiana law here.

Also part of what infuriates me about American media. They’re so lazy they cannot say “Roe v Wade”. They just say “Roe”.

So you get these absurd statements as if there are legal cases with only a plaintiff. Or worse with Chevron and Roe, you replace an entity with the named case it was involved in. Peeps go off about doing something to Roe when Roe was a pseudonym for a human.

May as well call OJ Simpson “The People”.

It was one of the worst debates I’ve ever seen.

Biden looks like he will die tomorrow. Trump didn’t handle Ukraine or the domestic terrorists on J6 well at all.

Biden may very well be replaced before the election. But at the end of the day, I’ve said it before. I have literally zero hope for this country. I hate pretty much everyone now.
I think the Democrats will replace him.

Think about it: Trumps entire offence right now is calling Biden old. Replace Biden at the last minute and Trump is left with nothing.

Trump himself on the other hand is a lying criminal with mountains of debt, he's the absolute worst capitalism has to offer in one person. A vote for trump (maybe let's not capitalize this piece of shit anymore) is a vote for handing over your country to Putin. It's essentially saying fuck America.

The thing is though, it can't be at the last minute. If they're going to do it, it needs to be now.

That was disastrous for democrats, shocking in some parts, sad in others.
What I dont understand is how people are shocked and in disbelief over what Biden looked like on stage. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? There's a new video out every week that makes him look like he has no clue what's going on, yet, we have the media covering for him and the press secretary saying those videos are "cheap fakes" and not real ---- and the media covers for that and the sheep accept it.

That is pretty last minute though. Trump has been hammering the same point home for quite some time. It seems to be his only gripe with the Democrat candidate right now.

Lawyers very often do this too though. It's just quicker if everyone knows what you mean.

But you’re conflating attempts to manipulate videos with cropping and edits, which is intentionally deceitful, for clueless people who thought he is in perfect health.

The former is no different than all the liberals who yelled “dog whistling” when Trump talked about bloodbaths if he didn’t win. It works both ways. Both parties are trying to game the system by exaggerating things out of context.

The latter are probably a lot of people who haven’t seen him do an end-to-end public talk since the State of the Union.

The scary thing is, he's still president for another 7 months ---- and it's not like he just got like this

When Jon came back to the Daily Show and did a segment on Biden being old and senile, he was called a fascist enabler and worse. I guess that’s what you get when you turn politics to a two team sport.
