Of course. Some American food is great. But I meant overall. Food production is completely wrong in almost the entire world, but the US is just ridiculous.
We are just very fortunate man. Honestly. Our own cuisine is great, and we are bordered by France, close to Italy, also Spain, specialities from austria and switserland

We are bang in the middle of all that. Name me a better place to be tbh :D

Lets be real, no one knows craft beers outside his country well, so its pointless to compare those. But Belgiums Duvel, Leffe, Tripel Karmeliet, Delirium are great commercial beers that taste awesome from tap. Is there a good american beer that has made it?

Sierra Nevada is one that has grown worldwide

I think there’s much better ones tho. Like seven said, Belgium has time on its side so their beers are more popular worldwide

Goose Island is a popular one in the UK. Personally I like their IPA and the stronger one. But once they get big they tend to get outsourced so I'm not even sure if it would taste the same here as in the US. Brooklyn Brewery is another that springs to mind.

I've had loads of smaller craft beers from America over recent years, and many good ones, but also multiple instances where there is a sense of deja-vu for something I've tasted before. There are so many that you end up with similar taste and quality, in particular the APA and AIPA range.

Even though I know they gerrymandered the hell out of districts, still can't believe repubs reclaimed Senate

That's like saying there's wine everywhere. But it's the best in Frace and then in Italy. But countries like Spain, Portugal and some in South America also make great ones.

It's not a rocket science but it's totally different compared to other places.
Biggest bangs for buck with wine: Argentine and Chilean

$50 equivalent of French wine is $15. Here anyway, don't know about Europe.

Cuisine I’m not sure I get your point. I studied tourism for quite a while and had culinary classes that were mainly research and theory, there was no mention of Belgian cuisine. I have strong ties with Europe so I have a fair idea of what differentiates their countries from North American, beer and chocolate is excellent but food I’m not so sure. If we talk gastronomy, Mediterranean countries are la crème de la crème

Yeah, I have no idea what Belgian cuisine could possibly be known for

Thank fucking Christ. This is what I was talking about earlier with "bridging the gap." I'm not expecting both parties to be best friends, but coming together to compromise and pass legislation like a normal, functional nation is the bare minimum we should be expecting. If Trump isn't even gone yet (hopefully) and we're already dropping being openly hostile or even harmful to states or cities that vote for the other side, that's a great sign to me.

Mitch McConnell says a coronavirus relief package should be passed by the end of the year — and opens the door to including a key Democratic demand

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Wednesday that a coronavirus relief package should be passed before year's end. He suggested aid for state and local governments, a big Democratic priority, could form part of the plan as well. ...

Is it though? I mean, some cities and states have massive problems. Budgets out of control, mismanagement, local politicians who want to defund the police, et cetera.

Personally, I hope there is gridlock for the next four years where very little gets done, other than the stuff that actually needs to get done, which is very little, IMO. If politicians are passing new laws constantly there is a huge problem, especially considering they barely read these bills and laws as it is.
