The Chicago police scanner basically listed any store from CVS to Bloomingdales to Lamborgini being looted. Essentially all the stores between Whacker, Michigan, and Rush streets. 30 or more stores.

Logic tells me the chances of them being from out of state are very slim.

Am I the only one thinking it has something to do with 40m losing their jobs?
I don't think so, I think this is just the straw the broke the camel's back. I don't know of a single person that doesn't see the former officers as in the wrong here, this is the first time. Even the most hardcore Trump retards. When it's that obvious, the response is going to be huge.

Maybe in a few cases, but I'd imagine the vast majority of the people looting don't want to work anyway. They want their free money entitlement.
The scale of these riots suggest there must be other factors. I can't imagine these guys just decided to get their entitlement on the street all of a sudden.

But you see a lot of white people in the mix. That's really unprecedented. I was watching Austin protest footage today and I tried really hard to spot a black person.

Exactly what I'm saying, it's unanimous across the board. Even from people that would normally make "problematic" statements.

Well, ALMOST unanimous...

from what I’ve seen it’s not entirely clear that’s the case. a lot of angry white people mashing things up out there

SLC is two percent black and we are shut down til Monday over this stuff

A random bystander on 14th Street apparently went to antagonize the protesters and started fights with them. Then like 5-6 offers tackled and beat the shit out of him while the protesters just formed a circle and watched . Both sides got the chance to get a little anger out without hurting each other.

SLC PD gives no fucks

This is exactly what the protests and the anger is for. Perfectly captured.
