Dude 56 people died in Soleimani’s funeral yesterday. Lives of people are that worthy to the Iranian regime. They just call them martyrs and move on. As a matter of fact they did it already with those 56.
I’m not sure yet whether the plane was struck down or it was really a malfunction. I wouldn’t put past IRGC to make such a mistake but let’s wait and see.
Maybe they are getting the numbers of martyrs up on purpose for some reason... u got a point on that

are these new rockets still part of the just-kidding-we-didn'-try-to-kill-anyone-anyway? Or maybe in Irak, the missiles flying around thing it's something kind of normal

Most likely some proxies messing about. Iran doesn't usually mess with rockets, they have pretty good missiles available.

The news link says a local spotted the part and took a picture of it so take it as you will.

Looks like part of A TOR M1 missile was found at the crash sight of the Ukrainian 737. @Bjerknes

Waiting to confirm if the news on it is accurate...
Which is Russian equipment, right? So most likely Iran blew the airliner out of the sky. How terrible for the families.

Here we are worried about Iran having nuclear weapons, but they really seem to be inept as hell.
