But seriously, this precisely shows why a blanket ban is dumb and unfair. His stupid supporters should realize getting a US visa is very hard for Iranians. I was trying to make an appointment for my parents last year. I started the process in September and there was no appointment available. I used every tool that I could. I used bots to refresh the page and let me know when a appointment opens up. I even wrote a bot myself because I thought the other one is broken. Finally in November I could make an appointment for July! That got cancelled on Monday after Trump signed the order.

Yeah they should've kept the moral high ground. But I think they may overturn it after an "order" of some sort.
I truly mean it that Islamic Republic has the moral ground vs. this clown. They have done and are doing so many horrible things, but at least they always try to save face. Just take a look at Khamenei twitter for comparison.

The clown is saying if we had made an announcement that say in a week from now no visa will be issued for Iranians, all "bad dudes" would have gotten to the US during that period. As if bad dudes or even good ones for that matter can make an appointment and finish the background check process in a few days. Just goes to show how unaware he is of literally everything he's dealing with.

@Enron can link you to a radio interview he posted here last year early in the campaign, where Trump was being interviewed by fairly friendly and neutral journalist. Questions were light ones about foreign relations knowledge, specifically about middle East, if Trump knows the players there. Syria, Iran, Gulf, the players, Shia submit Muslim and their differences. He litterally had no clue, was flustered and kept saying I have the best people I will delegate to. The best people...
