Been completely avoiding it for past weeks (except few articles here or there), since her healthcare nonsense media freak show and later grab them by the pussy shit started, this already ridicolous race lost any ounce of political value it had.

Hardly anyone I've spoken with even understands what these two candidates' policies are. Especially with regard to domestic policy. It's an absolute joke.

Was talking to a cousin that lives in Ohio, and she says most people she meets are voting Trump, but atleast 80% of them cant name a single real political issue or policy of Trumps that they like. Litterally political issues that effects them seems to be completely secondary in this election, kinda bizzare.

Yeah. It's bizarre. It's hard to comprehend that Trump could have close to 50% of voting Americans choose him, when you look at the fact all of America's allies/first world countries despises him. He's at something like 10% support in Europe in polls taken, and here in Canada it's like 10-15%. Is America really that out of touch with the rest of NATO/first world? Bizarre.

He'd single handedly destroy everything Obama has rebuilt in terms of US-reputation, and then some.

Or maybe single handedly isn't the right word, as like you said 50% of voting Americans voted for this fucking horrible piece of shit of a candidate.

Even when policy questions were asked, Trump especially gave esoteric answers. I recall a University student asking him how he would bring jobs back to America for young University grads... Trump rambled about how the media lied about him sweating and how hot it was, and then said he was going to bring 25 million jobs back, because iPhones were going to be manufactured in America again instead of Vietnam. No actual policy points as to how he would get iPhones manufactured in America...

He never talks about specific policy. It's always about he's going to do this and this and this... but no actual explanation as to how.

And Hillary has followed him down that rabbit hole over the last 6 weeks.

There's been some (imo not that far-fetched) rumours that Pence will basically be in charge of policies.

Which is horrible once you look at what his likely policies would be.

Yep. It's mind-blowing. But... when I think of the months and months I've spent travelling in America over the years, and the people I've interacted with, I suppose it's not so hard to believe anymore.
