Easy answer - this devalues the dollar, which supports the Ruble to the point where it doesn't collapse as fast. But there's probably more to it than that.

I am under the assumption that this administration's sole purpose is to be the final fleecing of the country headed up by Musk, Bezos, et al while also propping up Russia.

I’ve been saying this forever. Look at the deficit spending in Trump’s first term. Even before Covid. They cut government revenues with a massive tax break for the rich and corporations, while at the same time massively increasing government spending.

GOP only cares about fiscal conservatism when the Democrats are in power. They have exploded the government debt every single time they have been in office in the past 45 years. It’s a joke.

An even bigger joke is that anyone believes Donald Trump, who is well known for gaudy, over the top, garish luxury with his businesses was going to be the one to get government spending reined in. Like c’mon? How stupid is the MAGA cult?

elmo turned twitter into a manipulation machine and has no shame blaming the "legacy media". i saw the saudi dude's profile before it was suspended and they doctored the posts, this is orwellian propaganda in front of our eyes. he endorsed afd, terrorist is an afd supporter too, i get that it looks bad, so the damage control is understandable, but the way they are executing it is simply disgusting.
