Why vote for someone who does not do what he promised?

And what about promises made, promises kept?

In my country you usually have 15+ parties to pick from in the election and still a lot of the times it feels like you’re voting for the lesser evil. I don’t envy Americans having to pick between Harris and Trump or Biden or Hilary, they’ve had some hilarious candidates over the years.

Americans only hope is that Elon Musk will be part of the cabinet. Now they’ll have two people with a track history of broken promises and hopefully they keep that up.
He should get the US Postal Service and give it the Twitter treatment.

Rural Americans will no longer receive any mail.

But 15 parties breaks the lie that there are only two things to decide on ever: the good option and the bad option. And amazing how both align on all issues as either always on the good side or always on the bad one. America is just lucky that way.

Well you’re the murican, you have a much better insight.

Personally I just don’t see a lot of sense carrying out some of the promises like deporting millions of immigrants or starting a tariff war with Europe. I see the sense in promising those things and getting elected, but actually doing them and shooting the country and yourself in the foot? That’d be just dumb.
I never understood what Trump indicates when he keep sying that immigrants should be boycotted! If he refers to illegal immigrants then it makes sense and all countries protect their borders. But in his previous presidency he applied strict rules on legal immigrants and moreover cutting immigrant applications. Not to mention how many legal immigrants were deported because they did not eligible for the new citizenship laws.

with trump and vance there's always some mysterious context to be explained. what am i missing here?

The playbook they operating under is super clear to see for long while now. Either Americans are just to willfully oblivious to it, or they straight up secretly just yearning for Autocracy and pseudo Dictatorship in the near future.

Good luck to them.

The one who voted Trump to get rid of Obama care but to keep the affordable care act was just funny as fuck

By the way, all the Dem holdouts because of Israel are going to enjoy this.

But yeah Trump is anti war.

Nice job watching the money. I guess they will be the ones setting up the FEMA Camps.
Trump wants to build seaside condos in Gaza. He doesn't give 2 fucks about Israel or the Palestinians really.

you'd just need a president who deals with illegals finally :numnum:
You’re missing that I wasn’t talking to you. Does that help?

Seems to me like pendulum is swinging further right now after years of the crazy left and wokeness
That was pretty obvious when the left went full retard. What did they think would happen?

you don't seem to understand how forums work
I’ll make this simple for you.

Is your name in any of those three quotes above?

On a forum, quoting someone means I’m talking to them directly. If your struggling on the concept I’m happy to help.

I'm sure the next mid terms will say alot
Agree - highly doubt repubs keep both houses. I’m more curious to see the house makeup come 2030-2032 when the congressional makeup changes from the census

- - - Updated - - -

I’m curious to see how conservatives will spin things to blame the liberals now that they control all three branches. I’m sure they won’t disappoint
Probably just as exciting as the new minority blaming the new majority for being racist and sexist for not voting for KH.
