That he took the bait so easily was crazy. Obama only just made fun of his obsession with crowd sizes and here he is, ranting about crowd sizes at the one debate he gets. What a moron. It will just get worse from now on too. The Democrats have basically changed their position to "Lol, look at this crazy loser" and it's working.

Abortion was always going to hurt him. He was the champion of overturning Roe v Wade, but the honest truth is that the US are very divided on the right to abortion and the rush to statewide bans only makes it a tougher pill to swallow. From the minute it was overturned my gut feeling was that this would decide the elections.

The outlandish lies make him lose all credibility as well. Eating cats and dogs, executing babies after birth... There's always a percentage of people who believe these things. But it's small, really small. To everyone else Trump looks like someone who is either very gullible or someone who will outright lie and say the worst things to achieve personal gain. No one wants that in a leader.

I really don't know how much of an impact a debate has. I think Biden was a very peculiar situation and I'd be hesitant to assume this changes much. But man, did he suck.

Honestly I'm glad the mods fact checked the outlandish animal cannibalism. I heard about this the other day after it was posted on social media by some dumbass on Facebook, I actually didn't think Trump would use that especially as it didn't have any relevance to the question asked.

This debate was never a question of how many supporters Trump will lose, it's about how many Harris will gain from the undecided.

Trump supporters will not change their belief now of they haven't already done so.

I love that he rants about how much "help" Harris got from the moderators who fact checked Trump. Again, conceding that when Trump is fact checked that will be bad, because it is evident that he is lying.

And then during all that ranting, he writes this:

Thing is Fox news and other pro Trump media outlets have practically normalised everything he says and does and yet when he's pulled up on it, he starts accusing them of all sorts.

I just hope Harris has done enough to swing the undecided voters because ultimately Trump won't have lost anyone off the back of last night's debate, everyone by now knows what he is like and won't have changed their allegiance now.

The article is mindboggling. Especially because no one is saying that the fact checking was wrong. I mean, they just flat out accept Trump was lying about stuff.

But at the same time Fox News as an organization do seem to be backtracking. They've kind of ditched Trump before and, despite all the other bullshit they write, they were quick to say he lost the debate.
