Trump of anyone would've been the one to change that. Instead we are where we are thanks to the CCP and our reliance on China. I don't see that changing at all with Biden. If Biden signs on with the green new deal then our economy will be further fucked while China gets many more years of going gangbusters and making $ hand over fist while also stockpiling more raw materials.
But none of them got impeached. None of them had dozens of their surrounding cronies convicted of felonies.

Trump was pretty much the ultimate horror boss on the Hill. Have you ever worked for a horror boss? The kind who thinks he's entitled to everything -- including credit for your work, sex with the women in the office, throwing tantrums as leadership, everything about him, and setting an example from the top for the worst behaviors in the office.
You could argue that the job of a leader isn't to make friends and win awards, but he was never worthy of the office and he proved it day in and day out. No need to go into details about things like facts, conspiracy theory promoters, despots, domestic terrorism, and racists. In the end, yes, an election is a bit of popularity contest unfortunately. Of course, if it was merely that we'd be talking about President Kanye right now.
But hey -- sorry if your guy lost here. But the Republican party really has to appeal to some in its party that are more honorable and not con men. The country's leadership deserves more than the most morally bankrupt among us.
And please, please, please -- can we finally get over this lie that a good businessman is what it takes to successfully run a country? (Even if he's a pretty terrible businessman with multiple bankruptcies.) You cannot fire your citizens, even if you try.

Trump never actually liked these people. He was always enamored with the idea of being liked and part of the Hollywood and liberal elite. For years he tried to befriend them, do their shows and be their friend. In the end he ended up becoming loved by those people instead. I have a theory where I believe Trump would have toned down his rhetoric if he was re-elected.
