I'm watching him play against Roma now, and his actually playing more offensve than before, behind the strikers. IMO, from what I have seen from him it's not the best position for him to play. IMO he doesnt have the creativity and dribbling skills to be a playmaker. He's left footed and is pretty good on taking corners. He's IMO better at winning balls than Appiah, altho Appiah IMO has better, sharper passing and more vision in offence.

Altho you have to keep in mind I could be wrong, I've seen him for a total of 45 minutes so far.

appiah's only just come juve,he's not gonna be replaced.

besides, with blasi, brighi and maresca on our books,we don't need people to replace conte or davids directly but someone versatile enough to play in various roles when called upon.

I didnt mean that Appiah would be sold and that he needed replacement, I was thinking that Muntari would replace him in the first team maybe, with Api on the bench

right.

i'm hoping to see appiah playing more in the future though.it'd help out the defence.
It won't help anybody unless he steps up his game considerably. He absolutely sucked, last I saw time him play.

If Conte retires come June that'll leave us with Tacchinardi, Appiah and Maresca, meaning that one more central midfielder would be needed. Muntari is a hardworking, energetic ball winner and would replace Davids perfectly if you ask me, and as far as defending goes, Muntari is better than Appiah imo.

Yeah, I saw him a few times too and IMO he's not that good in attack. Against Roma Udinese had a lot of goodchances, but he didnt create any of them.
