Guys help, cause I'm going crazy already.
I have Windows Messanger and I want to install MSN Messenger.
But it seems to be impossible. I have that Windows Messenger as part of Outlook, and no idea, how to do such thing: add MSN Messenger as part of Outlook. And I cant get rid of that Windows Messenger.

Windows Messenger is something completely different from MSN Messenger.

For Windows XP Pro:

1) Click Start, click Run, type gpedit.msc, and then press enter
2) Double-click the following items to expand them:

* Local Computer Policy
* Computer Configuration
* Administrative Templates
* Windows Components
* Windows Messenger

3) Double-click on the option "Do not allow Windows Messenger to run", and then click Enabled.
4) Click OK, and then close the window

For Windows XP Home:

1) Start Windows Messenger.
2) Click Options on the Tools menu.
3) Click the Preferences tab, click to clear the "Run this program when Windows starts" check box, and then click OK.

    Oh thanks gray, you save me!

    But as figured out now, I cant get rid of that Windows Messenger completely.

    And my problem is: that my Outlook cant work with MNS Messenger, only with Windows Messenger.

    And I'm used to have Outlook seu up in this way, that I can see online and offline contact, but not now.
    I can see them only when I have Windows Messenger on, not when I have MSN Messenger on.

    Is there any way to change that?

    btw: I already removed all my old messenger by mistake, I dont have any addresses and I dont have my own NET passport ir sth.
