I just saw Hustle & Flow, Man that is a great movie! I didnt think so when i heard the story or when i watched the first ten minutes but how i was wrong.

Its got everything, its smart, funny, sad, heartfelt, inspiring and realistic.

The performances from the actors especially Terrence Howard(man he is brilliant in this one) just feel true.

Its got a great soundtrack too, if you are into hiphop youre gonna love it, if not im sure you will learn to appreciate at least some of the music in this great film.

Everyone should see this film.

I just read a review from someone on Imdb about Hustle & Flow and the review could might aswell been my own words because that is exactly what i have been thinking about after i saw this film. EXACTLY! it is almost a little creepy, its like he read my mind.

Here it is.

As a member of the Hollywood community, I was blown away by this film... By the tight screenplay, the professional direction, and the phenomenal acting. In my opinion, I think this is one of the best films of the year so far.

With that said, it is not a film for children. It is not a film meant to portray ideal role models for children. It IS a film meant to realistically depict the lives of people who live at the very bottom of America's socioeconomic ladder.

If you find yourself unable to reserve judgment against people born into a life so vastly different than your own, you will probably not like this film. In order to appreciate it, you have to be able to see past the moral and ethical ambiguities of these characters.

So if anyone feels unsure whether they can handle the ugliness of this type of world, but still feels curious enough to see it, take a cue from the Anthropologists...

When studying a culture vastly different than your own, make sure to leave the rights and wrongs of your society at home. Because once you impose the moral judgment and ethical standards of your world upon another's, you've sacrificed your objectivity. And by doing so, miss the very point of empathy.

-Aeon flux,a SF for Cherlize Theron admirers and only

-A sound of thunder....sux

-Flightplan,a little less than average

-Edison, GOOD! didnt expect that from singers

-Get rich or die trying, boring

-King Kong, impressive to wach what a man (or ape) can do for a blondy

-Matador, the Bond got tired, a cute film

-The Dukes of hazzard, too American

-Rebound, horrible

-Elizabeth Town, too social/drama for my taste but a decent film

Fun with Dick and Jane, a remake of the classic with Jim Carey.

If you love Jim Careys films like Liar Liar, Pet detective and Bruce Almighty you simply not going to like this one. It blowed.
