So who should be the next James Bond?

I think it should be Colin Farrell. :D He can even pull of a british accent. Lets face it no one wants to be saved by an Irish dude :D

Never! That would be a disaster.

I hate him as actor :D

I liked him only in The recruit.

btw: I've heard rumours, that Clive Owen :( or Hugh Jackman :cheesy: may play Bond, but another news said, that there is some other guy, who already has been chosen... I dont remember his name though...

I just took a look at gossips: lst one says about Eric Bana as Bond.

Every day brings new rumours, so now we have plenty candidates, I just hope, that they choose someone great and... good looking :D

Oh sorry, I didnt understand :)

Well, I dont mind, if next Bond is British or not... I want himn to be good, that's all I wish to see.

Everyone was  when Brosnan got the role: how come that Irish is gonna play Bond?
Besides: Connery i scottish, Lanzeby was Australian, and - gosh I dont remember which now now - only one of Bonds was English: Dalton or Moore.
So only one Bond of all of them was English.

all of them were "British" (scots, welsh, english or N. Irish) except Lanzeby.. he was australian as you mentioned.. I don't care about nationalities too, but someone here talked about that he should be british.. so I nominated some british actors..

Well, I agree, but the thing is, that only one of them was English, and even those few years ago, when Brosnan has been chosen, that was controversial choice again, cause he wasnt English.
And that's the difference for some people.

And even if they were British, they wasnt English, that's why so many discussions.

I want to get good and good looking Bond, no matter what nationality he will be.

Is it next part of Anaconda or sth? It sounds like that.

I knw the feeling: sometimes I go to see some movie and after watching it, I'm asking myself: why on earth I went to the cinema to see that, cause it was absolutely certain, that I'm gonna say sth like that.

Not true. Brosnan is from the Republic. He's just gotten rid of that nasty Meath accent!

I like Brosnan as Bond. He looks right, and talks right. Connery was excellent, but not quite right for the role - you watch Connery, not Bond. I never liked Moore. I'm a bit controvertial about Dalton - I liked him! He looks the part, and played Bond a bit darker than anyone else. The scripts he had to work with were poor though.

I watched Dodgeball and The Terminal

I'm a Ben Stiller fan, so I chuckled at some parts of Dodgeball, but it was mostly pretty weak, predictable material.

I enjoyed The Terminal; I wouldn't say that it's to everyone's style, in fact some people might find it hella slow and boring, but it was an enjoyable story (despite the fact that I had to remind myself a few times that I wasn't watching Castaway :)).

Exactly, the movies with him would be much better, cause he was great Bond, I called it more dramatic already, (and so different than Moore and Connery) if the scripts were better.
Brosnas had luck, that he refused to take role after Moore: he would be in the same situation as Dalton: great Bond, but wasted, cause of those poor scripts.

then, he tricked me with it..!!

but, how could you say that when Connery played bond, "he was Connery, not Bond"..?? there was no Bond movies before connery, he was the first to play it.. how can you tell that Bond should be played like this or that..??
