review?everything tells me not go see this but the big kid inside me is damned excited about this movie

transformers was above all expectations. a rendition of my fav cartoon as a child was honored and upheld with greatness.

Die hard 4 wasnt that bad, it had some interesting moments but it moved away from the original idea.
Room 23 was nothing special, hardly a decent film, we have seen such plots again and again, its a film that you will not remember the next day...
Transformers?? i was a G.I.Joe fan (LOL) and i always hated those robots,
i used to look down on them,but now, they got a decent film,
why wouldnt get one too?

Honestly at the time I couldn't decide if I was repulsed, humoured, offended, mildly disturbed, or all of the above lol. I thought I was pretty open minded since I had liked Dogma so much but at the time I really wasn't prepared for SP. In the end though I said to myself that it's a show that pokes fun of so many ideals so I just sat back and enjoyed.
I saw Die Hard 4 tonight. Not normally a movie I'd go watch at the cinema but my best friend and I were fighting over that and Fantastic 4. In the end she won out because we got there too late for my movie. 
Anyway! It was actually enjoyable. Yes the plot was weak for some parts, some parts were just plain tacky and some parts were a bit over the top, but I was expecting as much. All in all really enjoyable once you don't go in expecting a masterpiece. It's sheer entertainment.
Transformers opens here on Wednesday. Can't wait for that one.
