V for Vendetta-- Loved it; really good. A bit unrealistic though :D

Altair, I don't think it was alluding to the US. I think that one line from the movie, "People should not fear its government, The Goverment should fear it's people" summed it up pretty much.

Everyone, "Remember Remember, the fifth of November" ;)

that doesnt mean much

There are three similar films:

-Bloodrayne
-Ultraviolet ( a new film with Milla Jovovich)
-Underworld 2 evolution

All of them have vampires, matrix like mooves and beatifull girls,
IMO there are the next generation of B-movies,
between the three of them the most decent seems to be evolution.

Saw v for vendetta last night. The first few minutes made us think we were in for a treat, the brothers have done it again. Only to see the movie crash faster than Corey Feldman's career. But you gotta give credit to the bros for their courage(idiocy??) to come up with a movie condoning terrorist attacks on institutions you disagree with. With too much alluding to the US, it personally alienated me. The idea the US inflicted sept 11th on itslef is not only ridiculous but also very insulting. fiat experimentum in corpore vili...

I think the politial message in the film was far too clumsy, but I enjoyed it all the same. BTW Altair, you can look at it another way. They condoned a near-bloodless coup using mostly civil disobediance as a means of combating a neo-fascist government.
