In the next few weeks, I'm thinking of watching...
...
The Chronicles of Riddick...
Yes, I forgot about that one - I want to see that too. Pitch Black was a lot better than I expected, and I'd like to see whaqt they do with the sequel. Could be great, or aweful.

You both loved The Bourne Identity" with Damon? That was such lame movie :wallbang: compering to the original.
The original, from the 70s? That's supposed to have been rubbish - real made for tv crap.

Saddest Music in the World - Tried really hard to be different, but I still think it worked for the most part. The director used an interesting, cramped video style helped by the black borders that circled all the shots.

The elimination rounds had something disturbing that I think Euro 2004 could use (the horn, the beer slides). And among Isabella Rosselini movies where she plays a parapalegic wearing glass legs filled with beer, it's gotta be the best.

Control Room - Like Fahrenheit 9/11 at Cannes, it's critical to rate the movie for its own qualities and merits separate from how much you agree with the message (or not). And on those merits, it's a good, thought-provoking flick regardless of your political leanings. And for the conservative American pundits who say that nobody should see this, it's going to be a self-selecting audience anyway. (Like some Earth First guy is going to chain himself to a redwood tree so he can read Ann Coulter.)

and an oldie...

The Italian Job - The great original only, please. Had to dust this one off after all the Quincy Jones music for Adidas in Euro 2004. Those scenes in the sewer, etc. ... it's amazing how many years it's been and yet no one's been able to replicate that.

Mary-Kate Olsen is in the hospital because she's anorexic. Weird thing, although I kinda knew it because I saw some pictures like two months ago where you could see all her ribs in her back

Supposed? So you havent watch it, right?
So how can you call it rubbish?
Correct. I can only reapeat the opinions of a number of people who have watched it, and were unanimously unimpressed.

Fahrenheit 9/11 ... badly made docu-film though interesting moore once again falls short, not being able to control his emotions and thus giving his usual biased unbalanced view.... shame it could have been very worthwhile.

king arthur... thoroughly enjoyed it ... highly reccomended

50 First Dates: not as funny as I expected, but it was still good. Adam Sandler is quite funny

Stuck to you: VERY funny! Everyone should watch it

i just saw "white chicks"
Don, wasnt it a bit funny. Wayans brothers rip off Dont be a menace is bloody funny though.

Havnt been cinema for a while . Im not paying to watch the crap they put out nowadays even on student discount. But everyone I know is a student when it comes to going to the pictures:cool: Its cool if I can slide in smoothly and watch a free show, TPOTC Mel Gibson film was the movie and to be honest it was nicely made but I didnt feel much apart from good effects on the man who played Jesus. The whole cinema was quiet and sniffing, crying etc. people take films too seriously.

Im hearing good things about the F, 9/11 on how Bush plotted the attack and his links with Saudi. I might go see it.
