Well, in defense of Jim Carrey I have to say at the Majestic and Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind he did an AWESOME performance. Even when the first one wasn't that popular, as far I know, but it shows that he is a actor that can make funny and tragic roles.

Oh, and lets not forget that movie about like a reality show, Truman (?). Another superb performance

It's pretty good. It's a bit cleverer than most of that genre, though it still has the odd joke derived from vomiting or farting, and the ending's a bit predictable. Actually, the fart joke is pretty good, now that I think about it.
