i watched the last half hour of that movie b/c my friend (very silly of her) brought it over my other friends house and was watching it (and then got mad at us for making fun of her , but that's a whole different story)
the movie is :
crap :undecide:
kinda reminds me of "save the last dance"

Almost Famous
You have to see the confession that took place when the light aircraft they were travelling in hit electric storms! Brilliant stuff.

i meant the style and what the movie was about : dancing in the "ghetto", where a white girl is the main character ..... it's kinda like " haven't we seen one of those already ? "
they don't make movies about a black dude who does ballet do they ?
yeah save the last dance was definetly better but still kinda cheesey .. wouldn't watch it again :)

Almost Famous is a great movie, I really liked it, although I barely remember stuff from it
The only blessings of my poor memory is that I can watch re-runs & it feels like am watching the movie afresh. :)

Shakes The Clown. :thumb:

After seeing "Bad Santa" last year, I thought, "Where have I seen the plot about an abusive alcoholic who dresses up in a suit to entertain children before?"

I dug it out of the local video store, dusted it off... what an under-appreciated classic in its time.

The Boston Globe called it "The Citizen Kane of alcoholic clown movies." It stars Bobcat Goldthwait, Julie Brown, Florence Henderson (as a one night clown stand), LaWanda Page (Aunt Esther, of Sanford and Son fame -- I'll never be able to eat peanut butter again), a young Adam Sandler, Robin Williams as a mime instructor, and Tom Kenny (who later became the voice of Sponge Bob Squarepants) as the evil Binky the Clown. What more do you need in a movie?

That was so unfunny and immature :yuck:

I've got nothing against teen comedies, but i sat there watching it thinking "umm okay... should i burst out laughing now?"

well how many times can you laugh about the same fvckin thing ?
you have scary movie 1,2,3 ..... they're all " sarcastic" but doesn't it get boring after a while ?
i mean you know what to expect from it and you even know what movies they're gonna make fun of by now
plus for it to be really funny you have to watch all of those movies before you watch the another teen movie or scary movie

the only part i really like in not another teen movie is " it's already been broughten" ..... :) :) :)

yeah
like Dazed and Confused
or Roadtrip
or (the first!) American Pie
but 2,3,4 and 5 aren't gonna be as good as the original OF COURSE .... and they can't even come up with any new jokes so they used the same shit that makes people laugh over and over
it's like " haha he fell for the 13th time, what a great movie"

Guys i went for this movie called UPTOWN GIRLS. The cinema hall was EMPTY. Just me and two of my friends. It felt like "Lifestyles of the rich and famous" having literally the WHOLE HALL to ourselves. Of course, dint hang around too long after that. Left 15 minutes in to the movie!
