Burned after reading. Didnt expect zilch (and first 20 mins is slow and meh enough to justify that), but weirdly enough liked its random bizzareness.

Especially the CIA director and his underlings conversations hehe, brilliant final scene

Would understand why the pointlessness of it all would not be liked by some (it was quite bad in parts, George Clooneys character...), but somehow their distinctive style of comedy was enjoyable enough to put up with the fucked up shit going on, hehe. Its no Big Lebowski or such, but has the kind of twisted darkish comedy to be enjoyable enough.

Saw:

- I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry-> Nb, has some funny moments

- Perfume: The story of a Murderer-> Liked it quite a bit, has some over-exaggerated moments in it

Comedy?

It had one funny sceen!

First one hour I was like  Later one I was just like :shifty:
*SPOILERS*

Not true, it had numerous funny scenes. It's just not your typical humour, you need to understand the characters and see the parody in it all.

Personally, I cracked up already in the first two minutes when Farrell is narratiing:

[first lines]
Ray: After I killed him, I dropped the gun in the Thames, washed the residue off me hands in the bathroom of a Burger King, and walked home to await instructions. Shortly thereafter the instructions came through - "Get the fuck out of London, you dumb fucks. Get to Bruges." I didn't even know where Bruges fucking was.
[pause]

Ray: It's in Belgium.
Pure gold, how he says it.

When Harry is in the hotel to kill Ray and the landlord steps in:

Marie: [to Ray and Harry] Why don't you both put your guns down, and go home?
Harry: Don't be stupid. This is the shootout.
The scene when Harry is going to kill Ken on the tower, then Ken says all that heart-warming stuff how he respects him and Harry puts on a face, like a kid who's candy has been stolen, just because he doesn't have the heart to kill him anymore.

Harry: Well, you say all that fucking stuff, I can't fucking shoot you now, can I?
Then all pissed shoots him in the leg. :howler:

Those are the funniest scenes of the top of my head, but the movie is full of good quality humour. If you didn't see it, then perhaps you're not fans of brittish black humour.

It wasn't really just one scene as I said but I don't really think it was a great movie.I guess I'm not a fan of brittish black humour.

I'd rate it 6/10
