has anyone seen "Batman: Gotham Knight" ? i just saw it this weekend and its amazing. the entire thing is animated (not for kids but more anime-esque) and its basically 3 stories by 3 different directors who worked on the movie. each director has his own story with his own type of animation. its really bad ass IMO.

the whole thing is supposed to take place between "Batman Begins" (christian bale) and the upcoming movie "The Dark Knight".

i strongly recommend this to anyone and everyone especially if you are a batman fan

I download that a few days back.I'll watch it sometime today.

We own the night

Pretty good movie. Joaquin Phoenix in this one as a "recreational" drug user goes cop after his personal life gets slightly intruded upon.

Wahlberg once again kicking butt. :D
I'm gonna watch that tonight.

BTW, Wahlberg is gonna be Max Payne in the upcoming adaptation of the video game. Kicking butt is gonna continue.

I'd seen it before, so I didn't give it my undivided attention last night.

It's a good film with a great performance by De Niro, rather than a great film like some folk say.

Just saw Batman The Gotham Knight.

It was Ok.Not as great as i thought it would be.The animation and stuff was cool, but the story has no center holding it together, but thats understandable since the 6 stories were directed by 6 different directors.I was expecting the final story to have some hint of The Joker's rise in it too,but there wasnt anything of the sort which dissapointed me.I thought the story would start from where Batman Begins ended, and would end on where The Dark Knight starts, but that wasnt the case.It came across as a forced attempt to stuff something in between the two movies TBH.One storyline, having clear elements of the past from Batman Begins and hints of the future from The Dark Knight would have worked better IMO.
