Spanish newspaper 'Marca' has reported Patrick Vieira may play for Barcellona next year, perhaps he will join the Catalan club as a trade for Motta. It must be said, that Inter still have the better chance for Vieira as, it is rumoured that they have already found a deal with both the player and Juventus.

in a current situation, a player like him could be useful. though only as a sub i guess, cause he has those injury problems.

Motta is not a bad player and would add much more to the side than, say, a Giannichedda. He's fairly good on the ball and a decent passer with his left peg, not to mention he is comfortable either sitting in front of the defense or playing on the left side of midfield. If we're relinquishing all of our midfielders we must find some replacements somewhere...Motta could turn out to be a good option.

Why would Motta want to play in Serie B? Although I'm not complaining. He's seen a higher level of play and that can only be utilized in a positive manner.

Like cannavaros injury proneness at inter, people still doubted him, then look what happened. Motta still young i'll take him on.

Motta, a good crosser (corners as well) and not bad with the freekicks. Sure, why not. Could be used as a left winger as well.

14 million pounds to inter instead sounds good. we can do a lot better with that cash than motta. besides, zanetti in serie B would be the best DM and we got him for free. plus Paro has a chance to develop.

The Brazilian midfielder is not interested in a move to Italy.

Recent transfer rumours had linked Thiago Motta to a move to Juventus in Serie B, something which the player is not interested in.

"These rumours don't disturb me because I know I have the trust of Rijkaard and this puts me at ease.

"Juve is still a great team, but with all due respect, I don't think that it's a good idea to go right now."
