that can be solved with better quality fullbacks...and like you said, nobody is making themselves available for Momo, that's why he has to overreach.

True. Certainly not as poor as Sissoko but he was also bad even at making simple passes. Sissoko is more technically gifted on the other hand. I know, he's been poor this season, he was painful to watch whenever I got to watch a Juve game but I think we'll regret selling him.

Claude was the complete package because he knew his role...technically at least, you can argue that Momo is more skilled than him.

Personally, I think Melo looks more comfortable with his feet more than Sissoko does. I'd argue he has the best technique out of our midfielders. If there is one player who is close to Claude technique wise, It's Melo not Sissoko.

Melo is way better than Claude with ball at feet...it's his dillydallying with it and excessive flashiness that gets him in trouble.

I think his lack-luster attitude on the ball stems from lack of movement infront of him. There's a reason he performed great in a 4-2-3-1. That does not alter the fact when he passes to the oppostition though thats him being a bonehead. I'd keep him next season though because he can become a top player.

Technically gifted at what? To me, saying Sissoko has technical ability is an insult to the players who actually have it.

We do, and a forward that can lead the line aswell as offer fantastic movement. Thats why we'll sign Dzeko.

From what i remember Tacchinardi wasn't particularly great at passing or going forward, but he knew his limits and it worked well because it allowed Davids to push forward and link up more with the likes of Zidane as well as the wingers or full backs.

Yes i agree tacchinardi was a better passer than sissoko but i think sissoko is a better destroyer overall.

Makelele knew his limits and played to them, Gattuso also knew his limits, did the hard work and gave it off to the likes of a pirlo or seedorf.

The teams these players played in, that being tacchinardi, gattuso, makelele all had lots of movement and were in a system that obviously worked well and the teams were the best in their era.

If we sell sissoko, we'll still need to bring in a player who is going to make the hard tackles and do the hard work. Melo and Marchisio are not these players and I dont think Poulsen is at the level we should be aiming for.
