DESTROYED the midfield. If there was one pure ferocious one-dimensional DM that I'd love to have in my team, it would be Momo. He never gives up and completely owns everybody on the pitch (even his own players, which is one of the things he needs to work on :( ). But goddamn, what a player.

whats nice about momo is he tracks allll the way back if he needs to...if he misses a tackle he is right back up on his feet searching for someone....he always makes himself available somehow all over the pitch. great team player, he has gotta stop taking out his own players tho!

He SPRINTS his way back. Even if he is tired as hell, he always sprints back and makes a tackle. Relentless ownage. My coach kept telling me that is a key to being a great defensive midfielder and no matter how simple it is, Sissoko does it better than anyone perhaps.

hes got those long legs that can snake around the player, he has the advantage of being able to take from awkward angles. plus he never seems to get tired, especially in games like this when the other 9 field players see that it gives them that extra spark i think.

You know, when I was thinking about this game, I thought that Sissoko (and of course, our only current source of creativity, Del Piero) could be the difference in whether we win or lose. A midfield of Sneijder, VDV, and Gago is a very skilfull midfield, but very narrow and soft which is why Sissoko shone. If Real had Diarra, it may have been more difficult.

Great game by sissoko. Momo is great defensively but he should step up he's passing skill. Sometimes he need to play the easy pass rather than the fency long or through pass. But overall great performance by momo...
I think that Momo and Molinaro have a bet, to prove who has the worst passing skills :D

That challenge on Gonzalo was the highlight of the game in my opinion. He tackled him lost the ball, Higuain collected it, he ran back to him and gave him a tackle that will haunt him his entire career. All Gonzalo saw was long legs beating the shit out of him, then he found himself on the ground and the ball nowhere near him.
