"Sissoko. The Malian is continuing his personal schedule to recover from the left thigh injury he suffered with the National team. Under a clinical point of view, his recovery is going very well. The player will undergo a final test next week, with the team already back in Vinovo for the second part of the training camp, and should be able to go back with the squad at that point."

You guys can call him the black ninja or whatever u desire, but me personally,
whenever i watch juve play and he does something good, i tend to just shout AFRICAN!!! or AFRICA!! or something around those lines (im not racist or anything i just do alot of shit sometimes). He is awesome tho, i love when he does well, especially since i have a friend here who likes liverpool and used to joke around with me about signing Momo and stuff. So nowadays its great fun telling him thanks for Momo etc.

He is extremely strong, and a great tackler, espeially his sliding tackles, because his legs seem to be endlessly long, its great. According to popular belief he cannot pass the ball, but i dont believe this, he does mess up sometimes, but he also can make some decent passes. What i like about some of his passes is how hard and direct they are, sometimes this is not helpful but other times it is great while on the counter attack or when playíng the ball to the guys like Camo and Dp etc, who have great ball control ability, and can simply control, turn and run at the defense, or play another splitting pass, or have a go at goal.I wish him another great season, and know he can do it, Forza Momo!

Sissoko: Poulsen & I Can Play Together

Momo Sissoko is confident that he and new signing Christian Poulsen can co-exist at the heart of the Juventus midfield.

The Bianconeri have completed a deal to sign the Danish international, but the transfer has not gone down at all well with the club’s supporters, who have lashed out at the board for buying “another rubbish player”.

One of the main complaints among fans is that Juve are in need of a creative centre midfielder, and there is the feeling that Sissoko and Poulsen are too defensive, and indeed too similar to play together.

"We have different characteristics,” Sissoko insisted to La Gazzetta Sportiva.

“I think with some work we can integrate well, it's not a case of doubling up.”

Sissoko also commented on his current injury situation, and he says that he will be ready to return to action soon.

"I should start playing again soon, but the doctors have told me I have to take it one step at a time,” said the 23-year-old, who joined Juve from Liverpool in January.

"I don't think there will be problems. I'll say again, I'm fine, but if it's possible, I'll speed up my recovery.”

Sissoko suffered a muscle strain while playing for Mali during their recent 2010 World Cup qualifiers in June.

Sissoko, Ekdal, Poulsen, “foreign” midfield speaks

In Dortmund it wasn't just the usual great day for the attack and for an ever more solid defence (once again they only let in a goal on penalty). The midfield did its part too. And if Zanetti's brilliance isn't headline news by now, the young Ekdal - who will turn 19 only tomorrow - keeps growing, as does Sissoko's physical condition. Not forgetting Poulsen, whose debut will be remembered for a long time, especially thanks to his fantastic pass on Iaquinta's second goal.

At the end of the match, these were the three foreign players' comments.

Momo Sissoko: «We're improving in every game and that's the most important thing. Today we did very well again despite the excessive heat. I'm pleased with how my understanding with Zanetti is growing».

Albin Ekdal: «We held out well against excellent opponents such as Borussia. Poulsen? He's a true pro and he shows it in every training session. I'm not expecting anything special for my birthday, definitely some phone calls from Sweden».

Christian Poulsen: «I'm pleased with the ball I gave to Vincenzo. It's always a pleasure to set up a team mate so that he can score. But the thing that pleased me the most is the fact that I felt no pain to the muscle I'd injured, I'm fine now and I count on getting even fitter».

I love Momo, but he wasn't very good at all today - which is obviously why Ranieri started him against Inter as well... wanted to keep the lads confidence/spirits high, after a disappointing performance against Milan. Can't wait to watch him dominate the midfield and lock it down for Juventus this season... Forza momo!!
