There's obviously a million things up in the air for signings. This is probably a case of taking whatever money we can right away to fund the rest of the team.

There's no question his value will double next year if he hits double digit goals

He did a great job in ligue 1, he either got good service from his teammates or playing against easy opponents. he can pursue his career in a low level league and get the confidence that he has lost. Still 24 yrs and can back on track again.

~9.6m book value, ~13m yearly cost (wages + amortization)

5th most expensive player on a yearly basis, only vlahovic, chiesa, bremer and tek cost more :baus: any deal above his book value is an easily acceptable deal
Didn't realize he was that expensive but then again why am I surprised

That's a pretty big if for a moron who scored no goals and can't control or pass the ball. He offers literally nothing but pace and a bit of strength.
