I only have one thing to say about this post.

Del Piero isn't as YOUNG as he used to be. He was a champion, and still is a champion by his rise to success at an early age. He was youthful and energetic. But as you get older and older, you'll learn to do things without the hodge podges. You learn to do things much simpler, and more efficient. Yes, he may not score the goals that he used to score. Like aiming for the top corner and some acrobatic volleys. All you need to do sometimes is either slot the ball in the goal, or provide a much simpler assist for a simpler finish.

For the critics, don't expect someone whose gotten older to be as fantastic as his youthful glory in our memories.

A common example would be Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls/Washington Wizards. Jordan was more acrobatic in his younger years with the Bulls. But when he came back from retirement to play for the Washington Wizards, he learned that he didn't have to make those fadeaway jumpers, or those slam dunks. Sometimes, just sometimes, all you need to do is "slot the ball home."

I hope Alex breaks his goal duck in the Champions League.

If he makes his mark in the CL, he will probably be back in Europe's Elite players.

Too bad he's been plagued with injuries.

I'm totally agree with u!
First of all, I have a lot of time that I dont write anything here, and just in to this site to review the opinions, and the reason is because here the people take the things to chest, and the topic about if del piero will return to be like before or no, is a triviality.

Here people critics as if they had actions in the teams, as if could play equal or better than those that are in the field, is very easy to be fanatic but is very hard to be an idol.

I cant understand this way of think, Del piero is not God gentlemen, if dont noticed it, is human, someone who borns, grows, reproduces, MAKES OLD and dies, and I AM NOT the SAME OF YESTERDAY, I cant run as fast as before I believe that it happens to any normal human being. A really fanatic , is who keep with a player in the good and bad moments. If a computer does not work as fine as before, or if the computer doesnt serve you can throw it as garbage because it is a thing, an object, does not have soul, but it does not happen with people. LEARN TO APPRECIATE The HUMAN VALUE!
If u want perfection..... play playstation!! ( and neither u find it there )

PD..... english isnt my language.. so i hope u can understand the message
