You don't understand, Oz. When I become insane for a game, I become psychotic. If you remember SOCOM Navy Seals II, I played that shit during high school at least six hours a day, almost seven days a week, and actually became sick online. It was about as unhealthy as smoking six packs a day while putting your face up to a boiling pot of hydrochloric acid, but it was fun. We ran that shit.

Unfortunately, I see myself becoming addicted to MAG as well. And if that happens, all other games go to ruin. I haven't been this excited about a game since SOCOM 3, and this game is the ONLY reason why I bought this system.

Here in europe,COD serial was well played, mostly PC and online and in competative gaming...clanbase and so on....but this time IW fcked up with giving no support for dedicated servers. As I see, many people complain at ping being various from host to host, cuz we don't posses broadband power of USA or EU.... so I stick with CoD2 and 4....

What do dedicated servers do for this type of game? I see a lot whining because the lack of support for them... Pretty much never played online so I got no idea. I think played COD4 on a cracked server once, but I got my ass kicked ridiculously so gave up on it.

If you are looking for a torrent for the 360 version and planning to play it on a modded 360, I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Once its registered on XBOX Live, Microsoft will know that it is a pirated version and they will throw the Ban Hammer at your account.

They just required everyone who owns a 360 to install a mandatory security update to their system. So far, over 600000 accounts have been banned because they detected modifications to the hardware and/or unlicensed 360 games in their profiles.

Good question. I have no idea. I would have heard about it if that were the case.

Have you turned on your 360 lately? If not, it will force you to make the mandatory security update
the reason why i ask is because i got an email this morning about the update from LIVE service.

apparently some of the features that the update will enable will be FB, twitter, last.fm, and a few other things all on your LIVE dashboard.

Hehe, believe me I understand, circa 2002-2004 I was totally Socom crazy (and not so for games in general, extra crazy for Socom), and basically made every guy on my class total Socom freaks :D (If it was winter, we should to snow ball the fuck out of anyone who had friendly kill the night before, buy cokes and choclate to whoever had the highest kill score, which was me 80% of the time :D).

Not someone who has played much Online games (Socom was my first), so it doesnt mean much, but its head and shoulders ze absolute best online experience I ever had. No contest at all.

But still my point stands, COD MW2 looks real sick, and insanely fun, so you should play it, I know I will, soon enough. And will play MAG, the problem of which to play more is a luxury problem for later.

The normal story mode is easy, but the spec ops is fun and of course online multiplayer, aside from the lack of party chat in most game modes, randomly successful host migration and camping little tossers.
