He's hated because of his arrogance ad his self-confidence. He's funny IMO, you shouldn't take his talks too serious, he likes to play with the media.
What he says is partly true. His job is far from easy. Nobody will accept an offer from Chelsea for less than, say, 15 M £ for a player. But that's their own fault. Moggi plays it smartly: every year he says "we are poor, we have to sell, we have no money,..." and so he gets superstars for 15-20 M Euro, where Chelsea should pay at least 30M Euro....
Mourinho's job ain't easy considering the pressure that's on him. Look at Ranieri. He was "ok" for a first season, and that wasn't good enough for Roman. You've got to win something big every year.
But then again, there are men on this earth who have a more difficult time than Mourinho.
