Vucinic: “Napoli in our sights”
October 29, 2011He seemed to be put in doubt for the game against Inter, and some rumors said that he wasn’t matching up the expectations. However, Mirko Vucinic gave his own response showing an excellent performance crowned with a very important goal. He displayed his talent, but also his fighting spirit considering the pain felt at his heel which didn’t allow him to regularly sustain the training sessions this week. At the end of the match, the Montenegrin commented indeed that “without the whole group, even if quality is present, being at the top isn’t possible.”
The 2-1 result over Inter gave Juventus further conviction, but for Mirko it’s not enough: “We must also show our strength against Napoli. Winning here and to not achieve three points at the San Paolo would be quite disappointing. A response to Milan? No, we must be focused on ourselves only.”
