Yeah, I agree it can be switched. But for me it depends on the type of player the CM is, if he's just a box to box midfielder then 8 would be good, but for a real playmaker (like Pastore for example) than 7 would be more fitting. No rule, thats just the way I like it

2 is the classic number for a right back, what centre backs do you know with 2? Maybe Ivan Cordoba?

Like I said, its not based on any kind of rule, its just the way I prefer it, the way I always give the numbers in FM
