I am sorry but even I, who is one of Quag's biggest fan, admits that Vucinic is a better player.

Not even consistency. Nobody takes into account that talented and skilful players can't fulfill their potential in current Roma (Roma over the past 4 years actually). The only players who had and still have moves in their boots were Vucinic and Menez while the rest of the players are pretty much brainless. I think it's wrong to say he's inconsistent since it's like saying 'hey this X player at Juve sucked last season'. Well you know what, they all sucked hard. If there was anything big to expect on the pitch while Roma plays it has to be something from Vucinic. And no, it's not just goals he scored but he kept the whole offensive line moving all of the time. Yeah he surely misses something unbelievable but it's nothing compared to what he offers. He was also scoring 15+ goals a season, while some may say it's low you gotta re-fucking-think since yet again, it's Roma we're talking about, and not Barcelona. He was their main engine upfront who was ruined since Totti is still a legend there, but he was a great player for them nonetheless and it will be hard for them to replace him. Sabatini and Luis Enrique wanted to keep him, rightfully so, but it was his decision to leave. He alongside Matri may be our dreadful weapon upfront, we'd have both ball control and amazing technique mixed with a good finish. I personally believe he'll do very good in here and I think it's a much smarter investment than Rossi, who would be at least 10mln more expensive but you have to keep in mind that this spot, SS/LW, is not the only one we have to fix too. And you know what, fuck haters or not, Vucinic will prove them wrong on the pitch and same cry fucking babies will cry again, but the next time will be when he picks up some injury.

Funny how you ignore Juve's situation when it is about Marchisio. And it's not like we have the perfect environment to settle Vucinic in, because we're just the same mess as Roma is for that matter. I hope he does well for us and at least, if we get one more player, we won't have to lead with his (or our other players) incosistency problems, as we'll be able to rotate the team without losing quality.

Matri - Vucinic would most likely be the starting pair and Del Piero will want to play when fit too. If he isn't sold then he's going to have to work hard to get space.

yup, I was always saying get Aguero, if you can't get him then forget the forward position and get quality elswhere where we need it. Vucinic doesn't bring that "salto di qualita" we need, its just a waste, and with this mentality we will end up out of Europe again this coming season. Vucinic for 15m or thereabout is the right mix of quality to price. He definitely adds something to the team, and the price is low enough to not exclude other needed signings.

You're wrong, Roma never had any skilful player besides Menez. We on the other hand have many players who could work much better Vucinic.

Marchisio showed great potential (not the next big thing ofc, but he could turn out to be a very good player) and he isn't reaching his potential because of the coaches, believe it or not. And even though he's being wasted in positions that don't suit him, he's still being decent. Vucinic showed WC quality and he weren't able to prove that along the last years. If it's down to coaches, teammates or environment I don't know, I'm not a big fan of Roma anyway.

And let's see if I'm wrong or not in the future, but I'm sure he wouldn't fulfil his potential in last year's Juve. Again, the big IF remains on Conte and how will he work this team.

1) He is not the worst transfer ever, Pazienza is the worst transfer of this mercato. A good transfer season nonetheless
2) We will get a CB (Lugano).
3) Marotta is working on a LW, and there is almost a month left until the end of the mercato.
4) Vucinic is more talented than all of our attack, his only problem is consistency, we will wait and see.
5) Life is good man, you don't have to be negative about everything , Debbie Downer is probably your idol or something

No, I really want to see this partnership. One thing is that I like Quagliarella as a striker not as a support striker because even then he does movements that helps the support striker a lot, proof to that was his best matches when he partnered Del Piero, actually they were our best matches last season. With Vucinic's movement, I see them confuse a lot of defences if fielded together. It's definitely worth a try.

I am not disappointed nor I am overwhelmed. I always fancied Vucinic but I have seen him in few matches where he usually shines. From what I've been hearing is that he is inconsistent and lazy and I think these traits are not forever glued on a player.
