Vargas can play in a three men midfield, he did it quite a few times with Fiorentina, and quite successfully too.
I like that, we could do well if Conte does some good work.

Great thing with Vargas is that we can play him basically anywhere.

To be honest, I think that Conte will use Giandonato quite a lot. I think he could replace Marchisio in a year or two if his progression continue, but we will need someone else in the meantime.

I was against getting him for the 20-22 M which was at first reported but I have watched replays of Roma games since and my opinion changed.

We need a player like him on the left of a 4-3-3 and I'd be ready to pay 18 M for him.

I never said that he's awful, just that he can be wasteful.

As much as I like Quag, he can't play on the wing while Vucinic is very effective there and we will have eventually to play 4-3-3 if we don't want to get fucked.

Additionally, keep in mind that Vucinic only showed signs of being half-way.... halfway decent only when Ranieri was in charge of Roma... when Ranieri left, Vucinic went back to being crap.
