It looks unbalanced but with this team we could play an effective possession football and if the other side don't have the ball they can't attack. And scoring goals would be easy with this team against the majority of Serie A.

I think we should forget Grossi and focus on Vucinic and a left winger. That way we can use Mirko as SS because I don't want Quagliarella as SS. We all know he played his best games along with Del Piero last season.

We'll have Del Piero/Vucinic together with Matri/Quagliarella.

I know your definition of good is different to mine I doubt 3 goals and 5 assists in 34 games beats any decent veteran in Serie A. But now, sure, his talent has shone through.

He's still not worth anything like the figures bandied around though, Palermo will again do very good business when they sell him.

Not everything is about numbers, though. He's pretty much shaped right now, I think he's gonna be a great buy for any club out there. Like I said, Ilicic was very good and made the big difference. Or maybe even better example is Hernanes, who was a beast in his first year in Italy.

Let's be honest.. it's a bit lame our board had to name-drop some of the best strikers around, but if we end up buying a CB, a proper LW and Vucinic as striker, we really can't complain about our mercato. If all this were to happen, we might not have bought a star, but a lot of needed reinforcements making our side rather complete and competitive, more so than by splashing the cash for just a striker.

Yes, but that will show how competent our board really are. Since they will fail on their promises. Plus so far it seems we can only get players that are not wanted, by others and players who will not bring bidding wars. So it is infact stupid to suggest that we can bring champions when we are afraid to go into bidding wars and don't want to spend money when we are in such situation.

The market will be a good one I give you that, but it will show 100% how majorly incomeptent our board is.

One more thing skilful players like Pirlo, Vucinic, Krasic, Rossi live of one another. The more of them in the team the easier their job.
