there is very little room for improvement if we finalize Alves and Pjanic, let alone Kova, Benatia and Berardi. 3-5-2 and 4-3-1-2 would both be complete formations. Only ultimate players like Messi, Suarez, Neymar, Ronaldo would be a real improvement over what we have.

Beppe has built a great team. 2006 level of squad though not the same sentimental value ofc.

I think we will be better than Bayern even on paper. Robben and Ribery are not getting any younger with the latter looking very rusty and the former being injured very frequently. We don't play wingers anyway.

Their midfield is seriously lacking. Apart from Vidal, Alonso is very old and the rest are youngsters of still unproven quality with the new kid with WC potential. We will have 3 world class CMs and 1-2 with world class potential.

In defense they have Alaba and Lahm on the sides we have Sandro and Alves so there is no difference. In CB they have Hummels, Boetang and Ben Atia we have Chiellini, Bonnucci, Barzagli and Rugani (possibly Atia too) so we have the upper hand.
Their advantage is only in attack with Lewandowski and Muller but we have heavy weights too in Dybala and Mandzukic and possibly Morata.

We are pretty close to being only improvable by ultra stars like MSN and Ronaldo. There is barely a notable difference between what others have and what we have in any other position.

Seriously though, will Pjanic move to us, I mean, I get that we are very strong and all, but him saying how he loves Roma and all his goals, and then coming to a direct rival, I would love him for all that courage but does he really have that, I so would love that this is true, and I hope we wrap it up as soon as possible, but If we managed to fail to complete the deal, I honestly wouldnt be suprised at all, its worse than Ashley Cole moving from Arsenal to Chelsea or even Canna to us..
