The weird part is that he's 31 and people talk about as if he's dead. Ronaldo's 31 too. Zlatan is 34 ffs. Somewhere along the line something went horribly wrong for him.

Diego was my absolute favorite young player and I was so excited when we signed him. But coming here was disastrous for his career, joined us at the wrong time. Along with our obvious problems he admits he should've done things differently while here. He did earn a move to Atletico Madrid after us though. So theres that.

I am one of the very few people to have seen Diego score live for Juventus (against and in Bologna, 2010). It was the same game Del Piero gave that absolutely wonderful assist for a Candreva goal. Candreva who was excellent that game btw.

Candreva was pretty impressive in his time at Juve. Don't know why we didn't keep him.
