And not even comparable style wise. Krasic was a winger, Pjanic is a Pirlo clone, albeit not Pirlo in terms of ability (that is impossible), but he is a lot more mobile, making him less of a defensive liability.
Roma's current management isn't taking them anywhere. They need to be bought by a company that will bring them revenue now - like the Milans and China. Because regardless of the support of a management group (and Roma's ownership has been supportive, injecting capital annually), the team needs to abide by FFP, which forces player sales.
At the very least, Roma's current management team should look to sell a stake to a Chinese company that is willing to provide some sort of international sales opportunity.
