Exclusive: Juve prepare new contract for Pjanic amid Real, Barca interest

Everyone wants Miralem Pjanic and Juve intends to hold on tonight. The Bosnian is in fact part of the very small group of players of which Juve and Max Allegri in particular would never want to lose.

However, Pjanic has garnered a lot of interest and the first to undermine the Juventus director was Paris Saint Germain, and the offer was one of those to be taken seriously: about 8 million net per season for the player, while Juve began to set a base price of at least 70 million euros.

Then from Spain the clasico of the market has ignited: Real Madrid and Barcelona both like Pjanic as they eye midfield reinforcements in light of Modric’s delicate situation and Iniesta’s departure. Juventus would like to keep hold of their midfield conductor and are willing to go to great lengths to make it work.

Renewal – While there are multiple options on the table for Pjanic, it appears he is interested in resigning with Juventus. Juventus leadership have been discussing the matter and the result could then bring the former Giallorossi star on the threshold of the highest paid: a possible agreement on the basis of 6 million net per season plus bonus with extension, compared to his current 4.5 million. He will talk about it again, but Pjanic's time at Juve is anything but close to the end.

Juventus intend on locking down Pjanić to a new contract just like they did with Dybala.

The player will be offered to extend his contract at €6m net + bonuses, to make him the colonel of the new Juventus cycle.

Fully deserved

Our second most important player. Our (weak) midfield suffers even more when he isn’t playing. Bring him another top class CM to play next to and we will see even better results.

Juve to build team around Pjanic?
By Football Italia staff

It is reported that Juventus will offer Miralem Pjanic a new improved contract to reflect his importance at the club.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina midfielder has been linked with a move to the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City this summer.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Old Lady want to build their team for the seasons ahead around the 28-year-old.

As such, they are willing to increase his wages from his current €4.5m a year to €6m plus bonuses.

According to the Italian daily, Juve view Pjanic as an integral part of their plans. With Gigi Buffon gone and the advancing years of Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and Claudio Marchisio, the Serie A champions are in need of fresh on-field leadership.

As well as being an indespensible part of Max Allegri’s starting eleven, Juve also want Pjanic to provide assistance to young players and help instil the club’s winning mentality into new signings.

Pjanic, signed from Roma in 2016, has three years remaining on his current contract in Turin.

Juventus prepare Pjanic renewal
By Football Italia staff

Juventus are reportedly planning to offer Miralem Pjanic a new contract to ward off interest from Barcelona.

The Bosnian midfielder is one of the key members of Massimiliano Allegri’s side, providing seven goal and nine assists this season.

That has led to speculation of interest from Barcelona, who need to replace Andres Iniesta after his move to Japan.

According to Tuttosport, that has spurred the Bianconeri into action, and they plan to offer Pjanic a new contract after he returns from holiday.

It’s not yet clear what the terms will be, but the Old Lady will need to offer a significant wage rise.
