Seriously. On what pogba is really good?.

At least we can say that pjanic is really good I what he does which is assists and free kicks.

But in what pogba really excel?. His decition making is dubious as an AM and as a holding mid he feels like wasted.

Im really curious to see how his adventure in ManU will continue. Right now it seems the fans have started the parade against him.

Lol, mourninho will have to do his homework. And fast.
At juventus, the only team who apparently knows how to make pogba not look like a 30mil CDM that doesnt defend alot :

- Major passing target when in possession that is the best midfielder in the world at receiving any kind of pass and keeping it regardless of how many players are manhandling him.
- Ability to keep the ball and be very difficult to be muscled or tackled of it without fouling
- Creating tons of danger by his relative freerole BtB game where he can shoot, pass, combinate, dribble or 'magic' about
- Aerial ability in offence and defence
- Not the highest defensive workrate, but when instructed knows how to position himself where and is tactically gifted
- Very good passing range, not the best short passes, but his ability to assist from a position no one thinks of is remarcable

Pogba should play as a BtB midfielder in a 3 man midfield of a team that preferably plays 4-3-1-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2. He should have offensive freedom and be allowed to make offensive runs.

He is incredibly wasted as a CDM or restricted CM. At Real Madrid's 4-3-3 he would be an absolute nigthmare if Modric backs him up

We are talking about pure offensive output.

We both know, Pogba is much more than that......Well.. at juventus at least, the only team that ever figured out how to unleash his inner beastmode.
Pogba is the same as Witsel: give him tactical guidelines and he completely freezes trying to play according to these guidelines all the time. They aren't able to decide when they should break free of their role. The only solution is telling Pogba he can do whatever the fuck he wants. Something that was no problem at Juventus, because on the whole our team is arguably the most organized in the world.

Pogba would have made Real the best team in the world imo. Good thing he's killing Utd from the inside out instead.

Well...One can still give pogba tactical guidelines when defending, but when he has the ball, the midfield was designed to back him up, and it worked very well.

I dont get why France and Mourinho insisted on using him as a DM. Why ? What can he do there ? He wont dictate the game or something. He needs to go forward and do what he's good at

But he knew what he had comming with Mou as manager...

Yeah, i said it in another thread aswel. Marotta must have been much more cooperative to ship Pogba for the required cash fee to United, because it wouldnt strenghten a direct european rival.

When used right, Madrid and Barcelona would become significantly more dangerous.

    :agree:

as cool as it might have been to get a Kroos or James in return for him from Real, the thought of a Pogba-Casemiro-Modric midfield makes me glad we sold him to United. but imo, hes of to Real in a few years anyway, hopefully its gonna happen when Modric declines or leaves them

Because calling Pogba a top 5 CM in all of Europe is drastically understating his abilities.

    Danes. So irrelevant.
    Watch it!

    this

hes also been screaming for months that we should play him as AM (which we luckily didnt do) and now he questions whether his decision making is good enough to be one. our fans memories get shorter with each star that leaves us
The irony is stronk in this one. :p

Mou plays Pogba almost the same way he plays Fellaini, it's just ridiculous, Paul is the all-around beast who can do anything, except playing DM in 2 man midfield and Mou uses him exactly like that. I mean playing fucking Rooney as AM, Miki on the wing (wtf is that, dude is a classical AM) and Pogba as deep-lying DM it's just retarded. Jose is also stubborn as hell, so he might continue with 4231. If it was not for Zlatan MU won't stand a chance this year.

Great post havent seen an analysis of Pogba as accurate as this. But delete it before someone from Red Cafe sends it Mou.

Pogba is great player if u consider his overall football ability but most of the time he doesnt know what to do with the ball after great driblling. His decision making is really awful but other than that he is superior to Pjanic in most aspects expect passing, vision and decision making (free kick too of course).
Nevertheless he is not kind of player who will dominate the game, on form he will show flashes of great skills which might turn great for the team, but he never does this constantly.
Last season when we thought he will finally carry the team after great performance his next match was usually really mediocre. He will score plenty of goals for manu also, but and will become marketing monster for them, but I really doubt he will be worth the money from team improvement point of view.

Both Pjanic and Pogba have a tendency to go missing for stretches of a season. Which is exactly why I was so sceptical when we signed Pjanic. @Osman remembers as it really bunched up his panties at the time.

Viewing them in their ideal form, what sets them a part is Pogba's ability to carry the ball through pressure. Dont forget how valuable this was in big games (Madrid and in particular against Bayern) and it is something we wont see from Pjanic.

Agree. Mou should play a 4312 and have Pogba playing in his natural position and have Mkhitaryan play behind the strikers. One being Ibra and the other being Martial. Rooney would be the Martial sub.
