You know, this last two games, while i was watching him playing, i was thinking that he reminded me a lot the good old days of our czech fury..... but of course it was just because he was blonde and was running down the flanks.....

But after reading some sites and news, it seems i was not the only one who got the same idea.

I think he reminds us the pavel of old because of the energy and the never ending running this guy does, that coupled with crazy crosses and his blonde hair are more than enough to make people think that this fella can be our new Pavel.

Its good to see how everyone misses Pavel, he was so important to us, he had an aura that fortified the morale of the team with his runs and goals.....

Now lets just pray that Krasic will develop a good shot, or is too much to ask for another czech cannon? :D

I was just going to say, you don't get that sense of expectation with him that you did with Nedved when he gets into a shooting position, with Pavel you expect a bomb to come flying in on either foot, Krasic is different there but clearly has unleashed the odd cannon. Otherwise he looks a lot like him in his movement, but looks to make contact slightly less, stays on his feet better because of it (Nedved won hundreds of freekicks) and also seems to move very fast without pumping his legs.

I'd rather let the season end before I start the comparisons, also I pray to god Krasic does not read too much into the media and stays grounded. I think the problem with Diego last year he instantly believed the hype surrounding him. If Krasic can stay grounded he'll do really well for sure.

Yeh, Neddy was more efficient than anything else, but without a doubt in his prime years (the golden ball years) he had the most fearsome shoot in Europe IMO, at least just outisde the area.

ANd yes we must remember what happened to diego, so lets wait at least to mid season so see how this goes.

I have a better feeling about this because, unlike diego´s case, this Juventus is used to he straight 442 so it will be a better transition for Krasic which seems very confortable playing in this method.

I worked hard on this deal. Even BD couldn't make it happen. My connections with the Russian mafia finally paid off. Thanks Comrade Boris!
