It all depends on what marotta is doing right now behind the scenes. 2 weeks can be enough if everything else is already been agreed on (assuming we agreed with CSKA for Krasic according to the news) perhaps Marotta already have a deal in place for a LB, back up CB and CM.

It's all just speculation at this point but who knows it still a possibility (i thought we signed pepe, martinez, Bonucci and Storari in a short time period too ).

Lucky Luke got it right. He doesn't fit DN's highly successful and intimidating system.

We could be offered VDV for free and we still wouldn't take him because he "doesn't fit the system."

Mourinho hasn't stuck with the same system his entire life.

The best managers fit the system to what players he has at his disposal, not the other way around.
