Juventus will take punitive action against fringe players refusing to leave the club, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Those who obstruct the club's strategy will be shown the iron fist, with possible exclusions from the squad for the whole season as Giuseppe Marotta takes a hard-line approach with players who are no longer part of the club's plans, but are refusing to accept offers from elsewhere.

Up to 13 players are expected to move on from Turin, meaning the club will slice a mega wage bill of around €142 million. Marotta has been told to slash those costs, with many players facing the sharp end of cuts.

Mauro Camoranesi, Fabio Grosso, Hassan Salihamidzic, Jonathan Zebina, Zdenek Grygera and Chrtistian Poulsen are among those the club are not counting on for next season. Unless they move on, they face a long and hard season watching from the bench.

Camoranesi has refused AEK Athens, Hercules Alicante, Riverplate, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympiacos, but on Tuesday his agent confirmed Birmingham City had made an offer, suggesting he has heeded the Old Lady's message.

TBH i wouldn't mind if he satys, especially as he is our only CM who actually can pass the ball now that poulsen is leaving.
It'd be madness to sell Poulsen and keep Tiago in a 4-4-2. If we are selling Poulsen and not keeping Ekdal, we will have to buy a new CM.

I'm sad about the way we are treating Camo after all these years. I don't care about the others, lock them in the basement for one season for all I care but we should treat Camo with a little bit more respect.

Tiaga leaving and Poulsen staying would be better.
:agree: I hate some media try to make us really don't want to include Poulsen in our squad. It can reduce their price in the market. What i see actually Tiago is the one who really need to go no matter how much offer comes (undervalued or not).. And Poulsen is the player we can sell if the right price is offered..

I think Tiago will go to Atletico. Instead of Poulsen we need a more offensive CM, so we have balance between Melo/Sissoko and Marchisio/new guy.

Poli could be an option. VDF could be a joker, if we could use him as CM rather than OM.
