He's with Siena, we paid to loan him back from his co-ownership in January and that has now ended (confusing, but he was registered to Siena for the 2009-10 season as part of the co-ownership deal). In June we renewed the co-ownership and he went back to Siena, but he doesn't want to stay there and will probably join someone like Chievo or Bari outright.
thx for the info, it means that we definately shouldn't offload more then one striker without getting a new one.
Paolucci would have been a backup, but if he isn't here, then we shouldn't get rid of more then one striker unless we sign a new one.

Anyway, the Krasic BS might come to an end, this definately is the transfer soap of the summer so far.

How come, Chester? Right now we have 5 strikers. That’s too much.

Here we go again :moan:

Borozan: “Juve-CSKA agreement talk? It’s a media invention”

“Nothing new over Krasic”

“Iaquinta? CSKA can’t afford him”

--

But still, I’m sure when we sell, we’ll sign him immediately.

Well, if Iaquinta leaves, then we have 4, that is a minimum, even if we will start with only 1 striker, time might show we will nee da chance in tactics and then, if we would sell two strikers, we would come short of one striker if we would sell two of them.

I don't know if anyone has already asked this but why does he want to play for us so badly? Is he a childhood fan of Juve?
Apparently he's a Milan fan, or was a Milan fan in the past.

It's hard to tell why is he so willing to join us. There could be many reasons. Maybe he liked the initial contact with the Juve men, he liked what they said and what they offered (not just financially) and he got pumped up about joining Juve and playing in Italy.
Dunno, it happened probably to all of us when we were presented with some opportunity that we liked a lot and we didn't even think about other options later.

Also, the other interested clubs might not be as appealing as we are to him.

And it doesn't really matter that he's a Milan fan. Put yourself in his position. You follow serie A for years, you like a club there a lot. If you were a footballer and if Milan contacted you, would you prefer to join them and play in the league you followed for years, play at Delle Alpi, San Siro, Olimpico or you'd go to Fener, even City?
Hell, I hate Milan but I'd prefer them ahead of 99% of the European clubs if I was a football player.
