Like Mike-e-y said they should instead limit the starting 11. If they were to do that, the top teams would struggle instead. Inter has only Santon & Balotelli as their italien players, Milan have Bonera, Pirlo, Gattuso, Pippo, Ambrosini, Borriello, Antonini, Zambrotta, Nesta (All of these guys are past their prime, IMO), Roma have Cassetti, De Rossi, Brighi, and Totti.

I'd rather we sign Krasic he is needed more imo. Pointless having Dzeko upfront with Pepe on the wing. They may overule that ruling for next year Suns so we can mayeb get two non EU.

There is a lot of good wingers out there that we can sign. Strikers though? Not so much. If we don't sign Dzeko or Pazzini, then what? Gilardino? Thanks but no thanks. I'd rather see us go all in with Dzeko and sign another winger. Sanchez, Elia or Vargas would be sweet.

I would take Krasic over Dzeko also...if Marotta was smart he would be flying to Madrid asking about Benzema.

BUT, with Pepe and Martinez joining, i think the club may give up in the Krasic chase.

Is this ruling valid from right now or next season?

From what i have read it appears to be from this season, as a lot of clubs have complained it has blown their transfer plans out of the water. Im fine with the rule, but they shouldnt have just sprung it on people. Im sure they'll have to postpone it though..

If it came down to a choice of krasic or dzeko i think we'd have to opt for krasic. Dzeko is great but we really need to fix the wings..
