Marotta flying over to Moscow to meet with CSKA chairman Yevgeni Giner and settle the Krasic deal once and for all.
He enters the room and is greated by Giner:

Y.G. Hmm.. My spies.. I mean my agents have been monitoring you activity on the transfer market. Congratulations on signing so many players so soon.

Yeah! But the point is that I just can't see CSKA accepting our 15M€ bid for Krasic after they have learned about the Bonucci deal. Regardless of the players included in the deal, there's no way he's worth more than Krasic so I think Bonucci's transfer will backfire on us over Krasic. That was the point.
Thing is, they don't have to accept the offer. Krasic does want out and to join us, but is contract runs until December 2011. It's 1year at least to find other suitors. I see where you're going, and I agree that we shouldn't let ourselves be held for ransom by anyone, but I have a bad feeling about this. I don't trust russians. I fear they have done their homework and won't accept our bid afterall. And I really want Krasic here.

I don't think its arrogant or a backfiring stance, for Marotta to negogiate, increase, increase...when the player openly says he wants to come to us..then they raise the price again. They gave a price of 15m before??? which we met...then want more. He can go to city, or stay there. After the way Secco hashandled our transfers, marotta ALREADY seems like a breath of fresh air. For we need to begin acting like a powerful club, NOW, before we can once again BECOME a powerful club. And we should not be held to ransom, by a gang of commie fucks...
