I'm just messing around with everybody that trusts Marotta as if its an absolute certainty that he's going to be really good for us. Just looking at what he has done so far and you'd think he could have started off so much better. He has been here for a month as you say but he has already made 3 new acquisitions in Del Neri, Pepe and Martinez and you have to admit that after a season like this we kind of expected something else.

Yes, maybe after offloading some of our players.

We just can't keep paying without knowing our current players can be sold at a reasonable fee. If Diego stays, we have to use him as a key player and 442 might not be an option unless we play him as a wide midfield. then we can say byebye to Krasic.

According to what I saw, Martinez is more like the SS than the wide midfield in a 442.. so next step should be selling Trez/Amauri/Iaquinta or Diego...

but I am not sure, maybe Del Neri wants to play a 433 too, then I can see Diego playing in a playmaking CM role which I think can suit him very well. With Krasic and Martinez on the flanks.

So far we've signed Pepe, and paid nothing for it, and Martinez for 11.5ishmillion euros, right? So basically he's trying to say we have a transfer budget for this summer of 11.5million euros? Even if thats only the midfield budget, Del Neri wanted four wingers, what was he going to get with 11.5million if he had to buy 4 players?
