if we manage to pull off krasic now kudos to the board...like the agent was saying cska was trying to hold out for after the world cup for his stock to raise so if it indeed comes off now well done beppe...if it was secco...well...we all know how that would have gone...

Pepe is more a done deal than Vargas, but both are reported to be our targets. Pepe as the reserve for the right side.
Dzeko apparently interested in Juventus, but Wolfsburg could be difficult. They want a lot of money, so they're seeing what City do.
Garrone is allowing Pazzini to leave apparently.

pepe as back up is alright, but for krasic. we should sell camo as he is far to injury prone. i love the guy but its time now, gio and iago or james rodriguez as back up for the left.

Giovinco, Pepe, Krasic and Camo would be a very good wingers line-up honestly.
I agree with you, and I'm not trying to overrate Italians or whatever, but Pepe isn't as bad at club level as people make out. As a back up for RW, then I'm not against it one bit. We need solid depth, and I'm so utterly glad to not see Taddei linked anymore.

Pepe has played on the left for udinese on occasion, with Di Natale taking the middle and Sanchez on the right. Although Krasic is purely a righty, with that shot of his and his aggresion and strength towards the goal I reckon he'd do well on the left as well.

So if we get both, I wonder who'll play where.

In the tail part of the season he was put on the left side every week, so I'm guessing they like his versatility, which would make him a bench player.

Krasic-Diego-Pepe

For the time being, but seeing Vargas linked as well gives an indication that we want to cover the left side as well. Giovinco would also be a bench player in that respect I guess with him being able to play behind the striker and on either wing.

Pepe is a waste of money really. Too much money for mediocrity.

Dominic, do you really think we'll keep Giovinco and give him a shot? I somehow see us getting the other side as well, someone like Vargas. Dunno why but I can't see Giovinco staying, nor getting a decent chance.
