From June 9:

Krasic confident of Juve switch

CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic says he expects to complete a move to Juventus in the near future.
Krasic, 25, has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe but his agent revealed on Monday that he was closing in on a deal to join Juve.

"The negotiations between the two clubs are still in progress," Krasic told Sportal. "I expect them to be concluded rapidly.

"CSKA have established a price. We will see what happens, but I believe that there won't be any problems and that everything will be resolved positively so I can play for Juventus."

The Serbia international believes new Juventus boss Luigi Del Neri's tactics will help him find his best form in Serie A.

"I knew that Del Neri was Juve's new coach and I have to say that I am very happy. His 4-4-2 is perfectly adapted to my style of play. Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in Europe with many fans. It would be a step of fundamental importance for my career."

From June 10:

Milos Krasic
CSKA Moscow to Manchester City - The Insider says: 2/5

City have been big admirers of Krasic for over a year and have made offers to CSKA in the past.

However, the Serbia winger has rejected their overtures and has made it clear that unless it was a top-four club in England he would prefer to go to Italy or Spain.

Juventus are in prime position and are close to finalising a deal for the 25-year-old but have made an offer that has fallen short of CSKA's desired value.

CSKA are keen for the Eastlands outfit to step in and offer more money but that won't necessarily sway the deal in City's direction and they are wary of that.

Manchester United are also interested but have other priorities and Arsenal were keen but didn't think they could spend £12m without offloading someone first.

Krasic is keen on the Juventus move and the Turin club officials hope to strike a compromise later today.

"I've read the comparisons with Pavel Nedved, I feel like smiling, well, the physical resemblance is there: it ends there. Krasic is not one of those who changes your team, however, he is better than Melo. He could be useful to Gigi Delneri - I'll add - I know Krasic well, he is strong but is not a champion"

Have a guess who.

What is going on here BTW? Mark and Dooz are actually trying to calm down people instead of teasing us with their rumours.

That's just how you negotiate.

Otherwise you end up negotiating like Peter Risdale:

Risdale: "We can offer Seth (Johnson) £10,000"
Johnson's agent: "We are looking for more like £13,000"
Risdale: "Ok, £30,000"
Johnson's agent:"Deal!"
Risdale: "Welcome to Leeds United"
