I think that if Juve really want Krasic then they will pay the 2.5m that CSKA wants if he can't persuade them to take his offer. You guys really need to calm down, the man is doing business on multiple fronts. Let's say we buy 5 players this summer and for each buy he saves 2.5m from what the other clubs are asking, that's an additional 12.5m saved....that 12.5m is your Bonucci, Kjaer, Bocchetti, Zapata, Pastore, 2 Rodriguez's, Rannocchia, etc. Not only did we plan for 5 players, we saved enough to buy a 6th for squad depth or a starter...either way let the damn man do his job and sign players we need.
I think Marotta knows enough to have an idea when he should go ahead and up his offer if need-be before CSKA decide they want to pull the plug because of not coming to an agreement. All Marotta is doing is playing hardball, I think that if Krasic was interested in other clubs would also put further pressure on him to up his offer but Krasic seems pretty set on Juve so technically the ball is in our hands and CSKA knows that Krasic is ready to leave and only wants Juve. This is all just one big business...think of it as buying a car...the dealer has what they think the car is worth and the buyer have an idea of what they want to pay....they put the two offers on the table and usually if the buyer knows what they are doing they can always bring the price down. When I bought my new Passatt it was valued at 24k, when I traded my Honda in I not only brought the price down but talked them down an additional 2k
Please let the man work, if Krasic doesn't come then he doesn't come. He knows we have to buy a lot of players this summer so he is multitasking to the maximum.
