Juve are in need of a right back more than Milan, so I would like to think that Eboue himself would favour us more knowing that he wouldnt have to compete against the likes of Oddo.

If Secco was successful in getting him, which I doubt he will be, then we could sell Zebina, keep Grygera as back up for RB, LB and even CB...as he would be good enough in that versitile back up role.

Ebouè: Milan and Juve want me

Arsenal full-back Emmanuel Ebouè reveals he has received offers from both Milan and Juventus.

The 24-year-old has been a regular starter for the Gunners since joining from Beveren in 2005, originally as a right-back but more recently in right-midfield.

Speaking to skysports.com from the African Cup of Nations, the Ivory Coast international confessed he had been approached for a January move to Italy.

"I didn't want to talk about that. What I can say is that many big clubs spoke to Arsenal about a transfer in the January transfer window," said Ebouè.

"But for me, it is Arsenal for the moment. I did not put a transfer request in. I like Arsenal. However, you never know [what might happen].”

Ebouè is set to face the Rossoneri in the Champions League second round next month.

Claudio Ranieri’s Juve are at the centre of an injury crisis in defence, but Ebouè would also be useful to fill in for long-term absentees down right midfield, Mauro Camoranesi and Marco Marchionni.

Nahh don't want him..
too inconsistent!!
'd rather go for Daniel Alves whose price won't be too much of a difference now that would be something :D

Even Chelsea backed out of the asking price of Alves. the only way to get him for a decent price would be to wait until he has on more year left on his contract or on a free.

Eboue would cost way less than Alves.

Yeah u can all take a laugh at me for wanting Daniel Alves as Juventus's RB but well I guess we can all keep DREAMING about getting back to the Scudetto/CL race with the likes of Zebina, Birindelli, Boumsong, Molinaro, Legrottaglie and soon to be Stendardo and Mellberg on our defense back line :)

YEAH LETS KEEP DREAMING!!

dreaming about the days when we were a top side with nothing less than a WC starting 11 with decent back ups..
the days when we could compete with everyone else!!

We should be on yellow alert right now..
If it weren't for Trez,Del Piero, Nedved, Chiellini, Buffon, and even C.Zanetti!! we would have been under AC Milan on the table, but there's still half the season for that to happen..

the way I see it, we're becoming a mid-table club...
A team made of few WC players and nothing more than decent/mediocre players around them..

Are you happy?
I know I'm not!!!!

Eboue would be a player I would love to see at Juve, he is young, fast with a great future ahaed of him. This guy has improved so much since I watched him play here in Belgium.
Me like this a lot. At last a young talented player instead of these old geezers like Melberg.

no one is laughing ay you for wanting Alves. the point is Alves will not go for anything less than 25 million, which is a ridiculous price for a RB (he's be better as a winger anyways). and we don't have that kind of money to splash on a luxury.

The problem is that his price is much higher. There`s no way we`ll buy someone that expencive.

true.

yeah Zebina is injury prone, but we have Grygera and Sali as backups. and they can do th the job. It's more than enough for now.

we need a backup RB really...i think Zebina is doing a fairly good job there
Grygera is better than he has shown so far.

Given an injury free period and getting to play RB rather than CB, he will push Zebina for a starting place.
